Bennet – PE Teacher What were the reasons for developing your outdoor space? “Nothing to do for the children to do on the playground.” How we transformed the play area to provide outdoor learning opportunities for the children: We provided a new Combination Trailone for the children by installing one of our customised Nile Combination Trails which consists of: Balance Weave, Rope Balance, Traverse Walls, Rope Traverse, Log Balances, Log Crossing, Rope Weave and a Rope Web. In addition, we included a Log Snake Weaver and a Wobble Bridge. The children also chose some new Play Panels for their outdoor play area. How the children will benefit from the new play area: The linking Combination Trail offers plenty of opportunities for the children to try balancing, traversing, climbing, swinging and weaving. All the units have been designed to improve their coordination and gross motor skills. The new Combination Trail will keep them hungry for exercise at play times as it simply makes it a fun experience!
