What were the reasons for developing your outdoor space?

All of the grass underneath the equipment was in bad condition and meant the children were unable to use it.

How we transformed the play area to provide outdoor learning opportunities for the children:

We created two separate textured areas one was created using Rubber Mulch and the other Artificial Grass. Both new surfaces were in keeping with their natural environment and provided and all weather play area.

How the children will benefit from the new play area:

The children can now use their play area again and also in all weather’s improving their chances of active and physical play.
