What were the reasons for developing your outdoor space?
The school had an old trail in steel but wanted a more natural set of equipment to update the play area.

How we transformed the play area to provide outdoor learning opportunities for the children:
To blend in with the existing forest area our Mekong Combination Trail looked very natural following the installation and had a sense of purpose for the children as they weaved in and out of the trees and then onto the Trail.

How the children will benefit from the new play area:
The Mekong helps improve coordination skills and tests the children’s balancing and traversing abilities.
