“Adam has been superb, in that he has been patient and worked with the school and Surrey CC with risk assessments and planning questions, always providing a fast response to any questions raised. An extremely professional colleague accompanied him. The gentlemen who installed the equipment worked incredibly long hours and were neat and tidy with the installation, even though this took longer than they had anticipated. What were the reasons for developing your outdoor space?
“Our old fitness trail had been removed and we wanted to replace it with quality equipment that would provide challenge.”

How we transformed the play area to provide outdoor learning opportunities for the children:
Having seen some of our local work and hearing the praise we have received from those schools Ashford Park Primary School didn’t need to think again when looking for a local play equipment supplier to help with their new Forest Climber and Adventure Trail project.
We looked forward to meeting with the school to choose the perfect Adventure Trail for all involved at the school and a bespoke trail of the following units was selected:
Balance Junction, Balance Weave, Traverse Wall, Rope Balance, Rope Traverse, Tyre Traverse, Net Climb and Up & Over. A Forest Climber 2 completed the new play area.

How the children will benefit from the new play area:
The new Adventure Trail and Forest Climber offer the perfect combination of High and Low Level climbing providing all different levels of challenge to help the children improve physical activity. They will develop their climbing, stretching, balancing and traversing skills whilst improving upper and lower body strength.

What were your main reasons for working with EPE over other competitors?
“We wanted to work with a local company who had provided fitness equipment to local schools.”
