Staley – Head Teacher What were the reasons for developing your outdoor space? “Always like to have lots of variety- something for our younger children to use.” How we transformed the play area to provide outdoor learning opportunities for the children: We installed a 0.9m High Double Multi-Play Tower to cater for the younger children and included a Fireman’s pole, Moulded Slide, Arch Ladder and a Tunnel Link. How the children will benefit from the new play area: The double tower provides many new activities for the children to choose from including crawling, climbing and sliding. Their gross motor skills will be developed as they challenge themselves to use the unit using all the different entry and exit points.
