“Very satisfied overall, the play area looks great and happy with the service provided by the team.”

What were the reasons for developing your outdoor space?
“The existing play tower needed to be replaced as it was tired. The goals were required to improve sports facilities available to all children.”
How we transformed the play area to provide outdoor learning opportunities for the children:
To rejuvenate the timber trail enclosed area we included one of our Forest Climber units, this provides the children with some new unstructured climbing play opportunities which weren’t previously available from the existing Multi-Play Tower. The Multi-Play Tower that was in the area previously, had to be removed and the new Forest Climber 2 was surfaced with Rubber Mulch Safety Surfacing.
2 Goal End and Basketball Units were installed within the existing football court so the children now have a designated sports area for use at play times and PE lessons.
In the Early Years area we provided some new Thermoplastic Ground Graphics including a 1-100 Snakes and Ladders Game, Hopscotch and 3m Target Circle.
How the children will benefit from the new play area:
The new Forest Climber 2 will help develop children’s upper and lower body strength as they climb to the top. Balancing and traversing skills will also be tested as they make their way around the unit.
Physical activity will be encouraged now the children have a designated sports area, football, basketball and netball can now all be played in a structured environment helping them to develop cognitive abilities and take part in team games.
The Ground Graphics create an area for fun and social play whilst the children improve mathematic and logical problem solving.
What were your main reasons for working with EPE over other competitors?
“Good working relationship on previous furniture items and good price negotiations. Friendly sales staff.”
