“Extremely happy with the service provided and the new playground graphics are fantastic, very happy overall.” Dawn Mathews – Office Administrator

What were the reasons for developing your outdoor space?
“For the benefit of the children playing outdoors at lunch and break times.”

How we transformed the play area to provide outdoor learning opportunities for the children:
From the start of the project the school council were involved in choosing what graphics they wanted in their new play area. This is a great way to get the children focused on a serious project teaching them about budgeting and voting processes. Once they had worked alongside the PTA to raise the funds a vote selected the following: Math Maze, Hopscotch, Clock Compass, 2.5m x 2.5m Chess Board, 3x to 9x Times Table Ladders, 1-100 Number Grid and A Bespoke Play Leader Section. A 30m x 15m Multi-Sports Court was added to the existing sports area to create a structured zone for games. Finally to welcome everyone to the new play area a School Logo ‘Welcome’ Sign was added by the entrance.

How the children will benefit from the new play area:
The complete selection of graphics offers endless opportunities for the children to improve their fitness and outdoor activity whilst taking part in exercise and adventure games. Many skills will be improved by using the graphics to their full potential including literacy, numeracy and overall physical development.

What were your main reasons for working with EPE over other competitors?

“Happy with the service provided and price.”
