Powell Corderoy Primary School Dorking - Surrey Built: February 13, 2015 What were the reasons for developing your outdoor space? The existing playground markings at Powell Corderoy Primary School had worn away over the years and the school wanted to add some new Thermoplastic Ground Graphics. How we transformed the play area to provide outdoor learning opportunities for the children: The ground graphics design team are always keen to get stuck into a blank tarmac area. Working alongside the pupils and teachers we created a quotation and design that offered many different types of learning opportunities and ways to improve the children’s abilities. The existing Netball and Football Court was also remarked and anti slip edges were installed on various steps around the school. How the children will benefit from the new play area: The Thermoplastic Ground Graphics installed will help to improve the children’s Literacy, Numeracy and Cooperative skills whilst encouraging them to be more active during break times.
