Manor Green Primary School

Crawley - West Sussex

Built: February 15, 2015

What were the reasons for developing your outdoor space?

After downloading our brochure from the website the school liked the look of our Forest Climbers and Adventure Trail.

How we transformed the play area to provide outdoor learning opportunities for the children:

The school had an existing Wet Poured area which was perfect for the addition of our two new units. A Forest Climber 2 and a Log Crossing were installed into the existing red wet pour and the appropriate repairs and new surfacing were laid to match.

How the children will benefit from the new play area:

Our Forest Climbers are designed to replicate a natural, challenging and enjoyable climbing environment. They will bring a modern feel to any new play area. Consisting of a scattered log design with a base net and hand ropes, your children will have many different levels of balancing and climbing challenges to test their abilities. Whilst also encouraging them to use their imagination and help develop coordination and physical activity.

The new Log Crossing will help develop the children’s balancing and coordination skills.
