Leaning – Site Manager What were the reasons for developing your outdoor space? “To make the area more user-friendly, clean the playgrounds up, remove some old playground equipment which had deteriorated badly.” How we transformed the play area to provide outdoor learning opportunities for the children: We transformed two tired old tarmac play areas into exciting new vibrant sports and play areas with thermoplastic ground graphic games. The sports courts allow the children to play football, netball, basketball, rounders and running races. How the children will benefit from the new play area: The new sports courts offer the children an appealing place to encourage them to get active and play sports and team games. They have a dedicated area for all sports allowing them to improve their health and fitness and improve a wide range of skills.
