Hallcroft Infant and Nursery School

Here at EPE we don’t just specialise in creating new play areas we can also help to remove, relocate and rejuvenate existing equipment. This is exactly the service Hallcroft Infant and Nursery School were looking for when they phoned us for some advice. They had an existing trail which was in great condition but unfortunately the surfacing underneath had become tired and uneven, as a result of bad weather and constant use. We proposed to remove the existing trail, relocate it nearer to the access path and existing tyre trail over the other side of the play area and then surface the area with brand new Grassmatt safety surfacing. Battling with the snow and frozen ground, our team started by disposing of the old surfacing safely and professionally and re-instated the area by raking, levelling and seeding to get it back to the condition it once used to be. Once the trail was relocated the team laid the new Grassmatt surfacing to create an all-weather area. Being experienced with all the safety standards required, our on-site supervisor inspected the relocated trail to make sure everything was in place and ready for the children’s return from Half Term.
