“The graphics have really added life to the tarmac!” School Caretaker

What were the reasons for developing your outdoor space?
Cabot Primary School wanted to add some colour and variety to their blank Tarmac play area.

How we transformed the play area to provide outdoor learning opportunities for the children:
To add a range of activity and different bright colours the school chose a Spell Jump, Rocket Hopscotch and a 1-64 Snakes and Ladders. Our specialist team liaised with the Caretaker to gain access during Half-Term and the children were welcomed back with a whole new area on their return to school.

How the children will benefit from the new play area:
The three graphics chosen will help to develop Literacy and Numeracy skills whilst encouraging the children to be active during play times and to join in competitive but social games.
